Synopsis B120 Repair Server Room CRAC Units & B429 Repair HVAC Controls This posted announcement is a Pre-Solicitation Synopsis of a proposed contract action in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.207. The Mission Installation Contracting Command - Fort Leavenworth intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB). Scope: The contractor shall provide all supervision, management, personnel, labor, equipment, transportation, supplies, and any other items necessary to complete various construction projects. This work may include but is not limited to the following: Remove and dispose of the existing (2) Data Aire computer room units and (2) condensers along with the associated piping at building 120. Provide all necessary equipment required to remove (2) interior computer room units and (2) exterior condensing units. Remove existing (4) 1-3/8" hot gas DX piping from condensing to computer room units. Do not remove 7/8" liquid DX piping, going to be reused in the new system. The contractor shall reclaim R-410A refrigerant and dispose of properly with current environmental standards. Disconnect electrical connections. Main panel located in electrical room panel number GSDP1. Existing 70- and 15-amp breakers to be reused for new system. Disconnect chilled water piping from shut of valves to inside computer room unit. Remove shared condensate piping back to janitor's sink in adjacent room. Anticipates an award will be given to a responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bids, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price related factors included in the invitation.
