The Department of the Interior, Interior Region 10 California Great Basin is issuing this source sought announcement as a means of conducting market research to identify businesses capable of performing a scientific review of the data and methods used to determine reservoir storage targets, to forecast reservoir inflows, and to calculate allowable Truckee River diversions in the 1997 Operating Criteria and Procedures (OCAP) for the Bureau of Reclamation s Newlands Project, Nevada. It includes assessing and developing recommendations to improve upon the extent to which the 1997 OCAP incorporates the best available data, science, and technology to determine reservoir storage targets, forecast reservoir inflows, and calculate allowable Truckee River diversions. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541620 and the associated small business size standard is $19 million. All businesses with the capability and availability to perform the requirement under the applicable NAICS code are invited to submit a response to this notice.
