AWARD: Overhaul and repair of Rotary Couplers 6973GH-26-D-00004

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded two (2) contracts to Diamond Antenna and Microwave Corporation, Littleton, MA and Frontgrade Technologies, Exeter, NH, for repair and refurbishment of Rotary Couplers used in the TDWR, ASDE-3, ASR-9, MODE-S BOS, NAS ASR-11, ARSR-1, ARSR-2 and MODE-S FPS radar systems. Rotary couplers are used in all FAA Air Traffic Control (ATC) radar systems as well as radar systems within other government agencies and internationally. These systems are critical to Air Traffic Control in maintaining safety in the National Airspace System (NAS). The contracts were awarded as Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity, fixed price contracts. A market survey (6973GH-25-MS-00001) was posted to the SAM.gov web site on October 21, 2024. Responses to the market survey resulted in unrestricted competition for the requirement. Solicitation 6973GH-25-R-00026 was posted to the SAM.gov web site on January 27, 2025. Under the multiple award contracts, all task orders will be competed between the two (2) contract holders in accordance with the contract language. On November 5, 2025, contract 6973GH-26-D-00004 was awarded to Diamond Antenna and Microwave and contract 6973GH-26-D-00005 was awarded to Frontgrade Technologies.
