The services that will be procured consists of the following: The Naval History and Heritage Command (NHHC) is seeking services for Artifact Relocation Services. The contractor will supply professional specialists with a thorough knowledge of large, or macro museum artifact movement to relocate several artifacts from the outdoor pad into the building. Several objects require the fabrication of new skids/cradles (Support Fixtures) in order to safely move them. Any potential contractor capable of demonstrating that it is qualified to perform the work to the required standards and that wishes to make a competitive quote for the contract should submit a capability statement in beta.SAM.gov. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award.
