The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to survey prospective vendors capable of supplying Shell Panolin S5 Grease EAL A600P 1 (formally named Biogrease W EP1) in 55-gallon drums (Quantity: 2 drums) for delivery to Albeni Falls Dam (AFD), Oldtown, ID. This is a Brand Name requirement, and the Brand Name Justification will be posted with any prospective solicitation. Shell Panolin S5 Grease EAL A600P 1 is required, and no substitutions are acceptable. The Brand Name salient characteristics are documented in the attached purchase description. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 325998 All Other Miscellaneous Chemical Product and Preparation Manufacturing with a Small Business Size Standard of 650 employees. This acquisition will result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only. Market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 is being conducted. This is not a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid.
