The AIM-9X production procurement includes a maximum quantity of 7,500 AIM-9X missiles (including tactical missiles, Captive Air Training Missiles (CATM), Special Air Training Missiles (NATM), Captive Test Missiles (CTM) and other test and training missiles), containers, obsolescence support and material, spares and associated material parts, tooling, support equipment, maintenance kits, sectionalization kits, Special Test Equipment (STE), and other related supplies and data for the United States Navy, United States Air Force, United States Army and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. The quantities identified herein are estimated and may be adjusted to reflect other such quantities as may be authorized and appropriated by Congress and/or requested by FMS customers. NAVAIR intends to award this procurement sole source to Raytheon Company, 1151 East Hermans Road, Tucson, AZ 85756-9367, based on the authority provided in FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
