The Contractor shall furnish all services, facilities, labor, parts, materials, equipment, tools, and data necessary to accomplish the inspection and overhaul. Delivery Schedule: The anticipated delivery schedule is 120 days from receipt of asset at a rate of 8 per month. Delivery Location: TBD This acquisition is anticipated to be awarded in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12, Commercial Products and Commercial Services, utilizing FAR 14, Sealed Bidding, procedures. The resulting contract is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract) with a 60-month period of performance with five-priced ordering periods. The Government does NOT own the Technical Data Package (TDP) for this action. The TDP is held by Honeywell. Interested offerors responding to this notice must be able to demonstrate that they have access to the TDP or how the requirements can be accomplished without having this data available and without incurring significant additional costs. Furthermore, overhaul/repair of this item requires the contractor receive source approval from the Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD). Therefore, inspection and overhaul can only be performed by an approved source in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) Subpart 209.2 Qualification Requirements, which implement quality control provisions of aviation critical safety items as stated in Public Law 108-136, dated November 2004. The statue requires overhaul by a source approved by the DEVCOM AvMC SRD. Currently, Honeywell International (CAGE Codes: 99193 and 02LU7) and The Boeing Company (CAGE Code: 8V613) are the only known approved sources for the inspection/overhaul. This is a sources sought notice. No contract award will result from this sources sought notice, and it does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government in making an appropriate acquisition decision.
