Summary

AI-generated · Aug 24, 2025

Provide engineering and analysis support for the development and ongoing maintenance of the Advanced Joint Effectiveness Model (AJEM), including the Fast Air Target Encounter Penetration (FATEPEN) component, and the integration of survivability, lethality, and vulnerability (SLV) techniques with other Modeling & Simulation applications. Work covers the full software lifecycle—from gathering requirements, design, and coding to creating test cases, user documentation, and training—plus handling software change requests (SCRs) and integrating them into AJEM and related SLV software with the existing verification/regression testing processes. The contract also includes help desk support, data gathering and verification activities, and coordination with Government personnel, using programming and scripting languages and tools such as C, Java, Python, C++, Tcl/Tk, Unix, and similar environments; and it may involve developing financial documents and researching new data sources.

This procurement is planned as a sole-source award under FAR 13.501 due to proprietary issues, with suppliers invited to submit capability statements or proposals for consideration, though the Government reserves discretion on whether to compete. The work will be performed at the U.S. Army DEVCOM Analysis Center at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, and related tasks will align with existing software verification and validation processes.
