PM-FSS-ESD developed ACPRS as one of several systems to deliver capabilities outlined by the Capability Production Document for the Advanced Low Velocity Airdrop System (ALVADS). An associated ALVADS components Rapid Rigging De-Rigging Airdrop System (RRDAS) is still under development. The ACPRS components procured under this authority are necessary to support continued validation, demonstration, and operational testing of the associated RRDAS.
