The Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) platform, to include the ACV Personnel Variant (ACV-P), ACV Command and Control Variant (ACV-C), and ACV-30mm Medium Caliber Cannon (ACV-30) Production Representative Test Vehicle (PRTV) are currently being produced by BAE Systems Land & Armaments LP (BAE), along with initial design of the ACV-Recovery (ACV-R) vehicle chassis, PRTV, under contract M67854-16-C-0006. PM AAA is seeking potential sources for the procurement, manufacturing, shipping and handling of custom Rotary Unions designed for integration with the PSC 14029 crane on the Amphibious Combat Vehicle Recovery (ACV-R) platform. This is a market research effort to identify qualified vendors capable of meeting the specified requirements. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This Sources Sought Notice is for planning and informational purposes only and shall NOT be considered as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. The Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred in responding to this Sources Sought Notice or furnishing the requested information. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise because of a contractor s submission of a response to this Sources Sought Notice or the Government's use of such information. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any Contractor's input resulting from this Sources Sought Notice. No contract will be awarded because of this announcement.
