Thes transformers are direct replacement parts that support depot repair of the Rantec ALQ-184 HVPS. The only way to know if proper design and construction was used to allow the inductors to survive the harsh environmental conditions is to perform the HVPS environmental testing with the transformers installed in the HVPS. SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT- The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Robert M. Hadley Company under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. This is being sole sourced because Robert M. Hadley is used because it specializes in high voltage, high frequency magnetic components such as inductors and transformers operating in harsh airborne environments. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
