1 Alarmed Anti-Barricade/Anti-Ligature Door Systems I. GENERAL SCOPE: The VA St. Louis Health Care System seeks to procure 35 new alarmed swing anti-barricade and anti-ligature door systems for the Inpatient Psychiatric Wards located in Building 51 at Jefferson Barracks. Installation of all procured door systems will be performed by the STLVAMC Facility Engineering In-House Construction Team. The Contractor shall provide all necessary components, hardware, and technical support to ensure proper installation and functionality. Door systems must be specifically designed for behavioral health environments, prioritizing patient safety, staff security, and durability. All components shall be anti-barricade, anti-ligature, tamper-resistant, and fully compliant with VA Mental Health Design Guide Standards and Office of Mental Health (OMH) approval. In addition, the Contractor shall provide training and system commissioning assistance to VA staff upon completion of installation. II.
