Summary

AI-generated · Jan 10, 2026

Procurement targets all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services needed to run the JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge Patriot Shands 2026 within 114 miles of Perry, FL. The effort is being considered as a small-business set-aside if two or more qualified small businesses respond with capability information; if not, it may proceed without a set-aside. The work resembles an overnight recreational camp operation (lodging, meals, and organized outdoor activities) and will be defined in a draft Performance Work Statement attached to the notice. This is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation; a formal RFQ/RFP would be posted on the Government-wide Point of Entry if issued. No quotes are requested at this time, and responses will not be returned.

Responses should include: company name and point of contact, phone, email, DUNS, CAGE, and your small-business status/certifications; whether you intend to compete as a prime or plan subcontracting/joint ventures; relevant past performance on similar government or commercial work (scope, size, timeframe, role); pricing approach and delivery assumptions to help assess market availability; ideas on how the contracting could be structured to encourage small-business competition; any factors that might unnecessarily restrict competition; and recommendations to improve the draft approach or specifications. If you believe competition could be unnecessarily restricted, contact the MICC Competition Advocate with details.
