Dingell Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Calibration Verification Linearity Evaluation Services in support of the Detroit Healthcare System located at 4646 John R Street Detroit, MI 48201-1916. NAICS code is 541380 Testing Laboratories and Services, size standard is $19.0 million. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) (only one responsible source), to award a one-time contract to the College Of American Pathologists, 325 Waukegan RD Northfield, Illinois 60093.The contractor shall provide a CLIA 88 approved proficiency testing program so that all VHA medical laboratories and ancillary testing sites that perform patient testing are following VHA Handbook 1106.01 proficiency testing requirements as requested by the John D. Dingell VAMC. A sources sought notice was posted and determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government.
