The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to BECTON DICKINSON & CO, 7 Loveton Circle, Sparks Glencoe, MD 21152 for the BD Veritor Antigen test kits and BD Covid Antigen Digital Immunoassay reader for the Fayetteville VAMC, 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), sole provider, and sole service provider. The BD Veritor Antigen test kits and BD Covid Antigen Digital Immunoassay reader will be interchangeable and interoperable with the current Government owned BD Covid Antigen Digital Immunoassay readers. Market research has determined that these items can only be obtained from a single source without an unacceptable duplication of cost or delay in the continuity of patient care. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can provide the BD Veritor Antigen test kits and BD Covid Antigen Digital Immunoassay reader may give written notice to Cherisse.Hall@va.gov by 12:00pm EDT on 8/20/2025.
