6615 - Synopsis for Special Boat Training Command (SBTC) Autonomy Kit Contract N3957420260090

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Pentagon Directorate intends to solicit a purchase order in support of the Special Boat Training Command (SBTC), formerly the Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School (NAVSCIATTS), to provide a comprehensive, turn-key Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) training solution to enable its mission of training U.S. and Partner Nation forces. To be effective, this solution must encompass all required hardware (including autonomy kits, USV hulls, and control stations), professional installation and tuning, a formal training curriculum, and a long-term sustainment package of technical support and instructor refresher training. The Government intends to solicit and award this requirement on a sole source basis as justified in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The requirement will be solicited as a FFP type purchase order. It is intended that the delivery date will be within 8 weeks of the purchase order award date. The Applicable NIACS code is 334511.
