Parata Systems is the sole source for a package of equipment and services to support VA pharmacy automation, including the Parata ATP2-E480 Automatic Tablet Packager, its proprietary software, installation, integration with existing Parata systems, training, and preventive maintenance. Because the software and hardware are proprietary and not offered to third parties, a third-party service is not authorized, remote diagnostics access is required, and warranties may be voided if an unauthorized vendor performs work.

Interested vendors may submit capability statements showing they can provide full compatibility with existing Parata systems, integrate with Parata software/interfaces, deliver equivalent unit-dose packaging accuracy and labeling, and meet VA medication safety and pharmacy workflow requirements. This is not a solicitation, but responses will be evaluated to determine if competition would be advantageous. Include evidence of compatibility, relevant past performance, and capabilities.
