Background : The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration (VA VHA) is seeking procurement of one PENTERO 800 S Spine Comfort Package Microscope and required accessories. The current microscope used by Spine and Urology has reached end of life. The components are malfunctioning during cases, potentially causing safety issues. The Pentero 800S has 60 % more magnification and 50% higher resolution, enabling surgeons to manipulate vessels smaller than 0.5mm with clarity. This would be an upgrade with submillimeter resolution, fluorescence capabilities, hybrid visualization and ergonomic enhancements to reduce surgeon fatigue and improve procedure efficiency.
