TITLE: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT DESCRIPTION: The VISN 02, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, is issuing a notice of intent to pursue a non-competitive procurement with Medtronic (DBA: Covidien Sales LLC) for the Syracuse VA Medical Center. The requested disposable supplies which include catheters, brushes, needles and procedure kits are proprietary and can only be used with the INREACH I-LOGIC Super Dimensions bronchoscopy cart which was purchased by the Syracuse VAMC in 2013. The purpose of this notification is to communicate the Government s intent to solicit and award a non-competitive purchase of these items. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(ii), Soliciting from a Single Source. The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing, with a Size Standard of 1,000 employees. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Proposals or Quotations. No solicitation document exists, and no telephone or email inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made based on proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide supplies/services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient to determine that a comparable source to the government is available. The government may consider all Expressions of Interest received prior to July 14, 2025. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
