The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 6, Hampton VA 23667, intends to award a new sole source contract to Alcon Vision LLC for the high-quality, customizable eye surgical packs necessary for performing various ophthalmic procedures. The kits must include Sterile drapes, Gauze pads, Surgical sponges, Sterile surgical gloves (various sizes), Eye speculum, Micro-scissors, Forceps, Scalpel, Sutures, Syringes and needles, Irrigation solutions, Antibiotic ointment and Operating room towels. This is not a request for competitive offers, and no solicitation is available. Market research has determined that these items are specialized and are only available from a single source without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of items will satisfy the agency requirements. The Government intends to award the contract with an estimated effective date of December 13, 2025, to Alcon Vision, LLC located at 6201 South Freeway, Fort Worth, TX 76134. This synopsis announcement is being issued for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for competitive proposals.
