Summary

AI-generated · Mar 24, 2026

Lease of endoscopic video systems and associated components to provide a comprehensive solution for multiple surgical specialties (Urology, ENT, General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics). Equipment must be fully compatible and interchangeable with the existing Karl Storz endoscopic video systems currently installed at SLVHCS. Because Karl Storz hardware is proprietary, only Karl Storz endoscopic components can integrate with the current infrastructure; equipment from other manufacturers cannot be used without a full system replacement and retraining of staff, which could disrupt patient care.

Anticipated award is a firm-fixed-price lease to an authorized Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) distributor of Karl Storz equipment, under sole-source authority. This is not a competitive bid; interested parties may submit a capabilities statement demonstrating the ability to meet the requirements. If no viable responses are received, the government may negotiate solely with L1 Enterprises.
