Summary

AI-generated · Nov 13, 2025

Industry Day is being held to gauge industry interest and capability to supply Hydraulic and Electric Patient Lifts and their slings for Veterans Affairs Medical Centers nationwide. This is an information-and-planning event, not a solicitation, intended to help the government determine potential vendors and plan a future acquisition. Attendance is open to all business sizes; location is TBD, and if a government shutdown affects the format, details on in-person versus virtual will be provided.

At Industry Day, each participating vendor should plan to bring 2–3 patient lifts plus a standard bathing sling for live demonstration, with space limited to 2–3 lifts per vendor. Each vendor will have 1 to 1.5 hours to present the lifts’ key features and address the topics and questions provided. Vendors should bring supporting literature showing sling types and sizes and may discuss additional models within the two lift categories (hydraulic and electric). Information requested includes company details, socioeconomic status, business size for the applicable code, and responses to questions about features, manufacturing location, warranty, delivery capabilities, recalls, supply chain issues, and whether the company has a Federal Supply Schedule contract; responses are for planning, not offers, and vendors are responsible for their own costs.
