(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 -- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number 36C26225Q1455 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) in conjunction with FAR -- Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government intends to award a single, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award contract. (iii) The provisions and clauses in this document are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03, January 1, 2025. (iv) This solicitation will be unrestricted, to a business associated with The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code, 339112, and the Small Business Administration s (SBA) size standard of 1,000 employees. (v) The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to make a procurement for components for an anesthesia machine for the Long Beach VA Healthcare System. This solicitation is being procured as a brand name or equal IAW 52.211-6 -- Brand Name or Equal. The submissions must meet the following salient characteristics: The submissions must meet the following salient characteristics: Must have oxygen measurements for accurate ETO2 and FIO2 values. Must be able to adjust low and high alarm limits for EtCO2 or FICO2. Must have 4 to 35 breaths per minute rate range Must have continuous measurement of intrinsic, extrinsic, and total peep. Must have the ability to store and print up to 6 loops and the module keys be able to save or change loop view. Must be compatible with the VA Long Beach s current AISYS CS2 Anesthesia machine on site The information identified above is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality and services that will be satisfactory.
