Brand Name Item: RF Medical RFTP 0707N: Soft Tissue Radiofrequency Ablation Starter Bundle package including RF Ablation System with Generator and Pump, 15 disposable RF electrodes (18 gauge, 70mm length, various mm exposure, down to 3 mm). Salient Characteristics The intended use of the requested item is the treatment of benign thyroid nodules and microcarcinomas. System will allow for minimally invasive, ultrasound-guided ablation of thyroid tissue, reducing the need for surgery and referrals to community care. The system will be used by endocrine and general surgeons as part of a growing in-house thyroid ablation program to improve Veteran access to specialty care. Item must be indicated specifically for thyroid ablation and must have sufficient technical features, such as impedance control, thyroid-specific electrode dimensions, appropriate electrode configurations, thermal safety mechanisms, and FDA-cleared for use in thyroid radiofrequency ablation. ---End of Sources Sought---
