As part of the care for the Veteran Debriding with Vacuum Foot Drill is part of the care needed by the Podiatry Service. Background /Objective This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the requirements for obtaining Podiatry replacement for vacuum /drills needed in the Podiatry Clinic. The debriding system utilizes a vacuum attached to a foot drill for patients requiring this type of treatment. The use of the vacuum foot drill is intended to debride callous and other hard tissue, and to shape toenails during therapeutic procedures. The debriding services are necessary to address specific medical conditions and improve patient well-being. All units must pass testing and inspection by Biomed and the using service.
