Willow Drive, Greenwood Village, CO 80111, intends to award one (1) task order on a sole source basis, to Progenics Pharmaceuticals, Inc., for PYLARIFY (piflufolastat F 18) Injections. BACKGROUND AND DESCRIPTION: This procurement is for the continued providing of unit dose syringes of F-18 Piflufolastat (Pylarify) for positron emitting tomography (PET) imaging as ordered by the Nuclear Medicine Department. Pylarify is a radiopharmaceutical, or medicinal radio-compound, and contains radioactive isotopes. Radiopharmaceuticals can be used as diagnostic and therapeutic agents to diagnose specific pathologies, such as cancer, osteomyelitis, cardiac ischemia, and infection. NAICS: 325412 Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing, $34 Million PSC: 6505 Drugs and Biologicals AUTHORITY: This procurement will be issued under the authority of FAR Part 8 Required Sources of Supplies and Services. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
