This acquisition is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 335910 Battery manufacturing with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,250 employees. The product service code is 6140 Batteries Rechargeables. This RFQ is for the purchase of new batteries for our remote microwave communication sites. The batteries are required to be replaced every 7 years according to FIST 3-6. A 7 year rotation will occur, supplying batteries annually for 2 of the 16 sites, continuing with the battery purchase for 2 additional sites every year. Current year purchase is for Packer John and Deadwood Dam. Reclamation intends to award one firm-fixed-price contract.
