It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposal or quotes and does not obligate the Government toward a contract. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification to include LARGE AND SMALL BUSINESS AS WELL AS THE FOLLOWING: (Service Disabled owned, Veteran owned small business, Hub Zone, 8(a), small disadvantaged, women owned, small) relative to 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors (business size standard $19 Million). The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), VISN 8 Network Contracting Office, James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH), 13,000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, Florida 33612, intends to award a sole source contract to EOI, Inc. (dba Medical Resources). The contractor shall furnish all training, deliverables, tools, and hardware necessary to provide and install Checkpoint G4 Temperature Monitoring Systems at JAHVH. The Period of Performance (POP) is from 3/15/2026 9/30/2026 with only one source, EOI, Inc. (dba Medical Resources) under the authority Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b)(1). The contractor shall furnish all training, deliverables, tools, and hardware necessary to provide and install Checkpoint G4 Temperature Monitoring Systems at JAHVH. The Contractor shall remove/dispose all existing Checkpoint G3 Temperature Monitoring Systems and replace them with the new G4 Temperature Monitoring System, as well as set up/configure a new Viewpoint Database. The Contractor shall also ensure all new devices are functioning correctly and logging data to the server as required, along with training for on-site personnel on the new system, while also following the VA s Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) Rules and Procedures. Response: Responses to this Special Notice should be able to demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to deliver the required hardware listed above. The purpose of this Special Notice announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), HUBZone and other Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described above.
