Quotations must propose a firm fixed price for full repair, or a not-to-exceed price for a like-new “A” condition unit if a firm price isn’t possible, and also provide a beyond-repair (BR) or beyond-economic-repair (BER) price. Include the unit repair price and pricing type, repair turnaround time (days), monthly throughput, any known new procurement cost, whether the item is obsolete, and the repair and packaging CAGE codes, plus quote validity. Shipping costs are not included; contractors must support CAV or Proxy CAV, and only authorized distributors may be considered.
