Description: The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), is seeking potential sources for production of 57 mm MK 307 MOD 0 Dummy Cartridges, to include all components, Load Assemble and Pack (LAP), and acceptance testing. The cartridges shall meet the requirements of Top Level Drawing 53711-8215729 and Painting and Marking Drawing 53711-8876691. In addition, the cartridges must meet or exceed the following requirements: Designed to function in the 57 mm MK 110 Gun Mount; Cartridges shall be able to cycle through a MK 110 Gun under cold, ambient and hot conditions; and Cartridges shall be clipped together with MK 8 MOD 0 Ammunition Clips, packed 2 each in the MK 806 MOD 0 Storage Container and placed on MK 12 MOD 1 Pallets. Purpose: The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential sources for the manufacture and delivery of 57 mm MK 307 MOD 0 Dummy Cartridges. Potential sources should have design, production engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance expertise and skills for this or similar items.
