4310--Optical Lab Air Compressor Replacement Project, IND 36C25026Q0162
Summary
AI-generated · Dec 11, 2025Indianapolis VA Medical Center seeks capability information from qualified contractors to replace two air compressors with two new units: Ingersoll Rand RS55I, 75HP, 138 PSI, Contact Cooled Rotary Screw with Total Air System or equivalent. Each unit must independently meet the minimum continuous air demand of 335 CFM, installed in tandem to provide an uninterrupted air supply, using the existing ~500-gallon storage tank. Each unit must include an integrated air-drying system, with a preferred but not mandatory variable-speed/rotary design, and there is an on-site pre-proposal visitation option to ensure accuracy in proposals.
Project scope is turnkey: remove and dispose of the two existing IRN40H-CC-HV compressors, transport and rig the equipment, install and exhaust duct work, locate the new compressors in the VA mechanical room (with core ductwork present), connect or modify utilities (current safety switches are 100A/60V and 200A/240V), address all drains and plumbing to tie into four copper supply lines, and relocate the existing storage tank as needed. An optional preventative maintenance program may be offered later via a separate solicitation. Respondents should provide company details, indicate whether they are the manufacturer or distributor (with manufacturer name and size standard), and include country of origin.
