Summary

AI-generated · Aug 24, 2025

Furnish and manufacture a Rotary Pump under a firm-fixed-price contract. The item must reflect the design represented by Cage Code 59776 and reference D35C2500003, delivered FOB origin, and must be properly marked per MIL-STD-130. Any changes in design, material, or part number require notification to NAVICP-MECH, a formal change-order process, and supporting drawings or shop drawings with justification. Government source inspection is required, and the contract includes standard quality, packaging (MIL-STD-2073), and record-keeping requirements. Only authorized distributors of the original manufacturer may bid; bidders must verify nomenclature, part number, and NSN prior to responding. The award will be bilateral and considered a rated order under DPAS, with inspection and acceptance at government or destination, and all freight as FOB origin.

Between notices, the action evolved from a presolicitation indicating sole-source approval for spares through an ISEA-approved repair source (with a depot overhaul point and a source approval request process) to a formal, manufacturer-build solicitation. The current solicitation restricts bidders to authorized distributors of the original manufacturer, imposes NAVICP-MECH change-control and technical-review requirements, mandates government source inspection, codifies marking and packaging standards, and requires verification of nomenclature/NSN before responding, with a bilateral, fixed-price award and DPAS considerations.
