40mm Ammunition Sources Sought W519TC27R40MM

The U.S. Government (USG) has re-opened the 40mm Ammunition Sources Sought notice to incorporate drawings for the M430A1 and M433 cartridges. Interested parties who have not yet responded are encouraged to submit a response. Those with existing submissions may revise and resubmit to include any new information. Please see attachment for the sources sought. Furthermore, the USG requests additional information regarding plans for procuring 40mm fuzes in accordance with the USG Technical Data Packages. Please provide information regarding whether or not fuzes would be produced in-house or provided by a sub-contractor. In addition, please specify whether the capability already exists, is in development, or would need to be developed. Information regarding timeline to conducting First Article Testing, initiating production, and production capacities is also requested. The M430A1 and M433 drawings are marked Distribution D (Distribution Authorized to the Department of Defense and U.S. DoD Contractors Only) and Export Controlled. Interested parties are required to submit a certified DD2345 in accordance with DoD Directive 5230.25 and a Non-Disclosure Agreement to obtain access to the drawings. The drawings will be available after meeting the aforementioned certification.
