This amendment is to update the specification document and extend the sources sought deadline to July 10, 2025, 9:00 AM EST. This Sources Sought is for the purpose of identifying firms that can meet the following Bureau of Reclamation Requirements. The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) has a requirement for a large format 3D printer with associated accessories for their Technical Service Center, under NAICS 333248, All Other Industrial Machinery Manufacturing. This is not a solicitation. This is a notification of an intent to award a sole source procurement under NAICS code 333248. The Bureau of Reclamation Acquisition and Operation Branch in Denver, Colorado will solicit and award a purchase order to Atlantic Diving Supply, INC. The requirement is to procure a 3D systems model EXT 1070 Titan Pellet large format 3D printer with integrated machining capabilities and associated accessories. This machine is specified with two toolheads: the first toolhead must utilize pellet extrusion (not filament), the second toolhead must be a CNC spindle. This requirement for the second toolhead as a spindle is uniquely suited to meet Reclamations needs. Furthermore, 3D Systems Corporation has confirmed that ADS Inc., a U.S.-based small business, is their sole authorized distributor for this equipment. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(2), only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. If firms believe they have the technical capability to meet this need, submit a technical capability statement along with business profile to Savanna Manning at smanning@usbr.gov within fifteen (15) days of this notice. Any information received will be treated as market research information towards future similar or same requirements. Quotations or proposals received in response to this notice will not be accepted since this notice is not a request for proposal.
