This is a Sources Sought Notice / RFI only. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice / RFI is to gain information about potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 333922 (size standard of 500 Employees). Responses to this Sources Sought Notice / RFI will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought Notice / RFI, further RFIs and/or a solicitation or other announcements may be published. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking sources capable of providing Transport System Conveyor Parts. STATEMENT OF WORK The purpose of this Statement of Work is to transport conveyor parts to VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. Background: The requested 150 EA Unibilt pusher dogs and 27 EA of Unibilt steel conveyor chain is required for the replacement of conveyor. It is imperative to replace the failing conveyor as soon as possible as it affects the functionality of the system. This is part of the MTS system that picks up, transports and delivers surgical, biohazard and general-purpose carts throughout BLDG 500. Scope: The contractor shall acquire pusher dogs and chains in accordance with specific design and specifications of the Material Transportation System. Specific Tasks: The contractor shall supply 150 EA Unibilt pusher dogs and 27 EA boxes of Unibilt steel conveyor chains built to proper specifications to comply with the area of application for MTS conveyor system. Enterprise Management Controls: Subtask 1 - Integration Management Control Planning: Provide the technical and functional activities at the required level for integration of all tasks specified within this SOW. Include productivity and management methods such as quality assurance, progress/status reporting and program reviews. Provide centralized administrative, clerical, documentation and related functions. Subtask 2 - Contract Management: Prepare a Contract Management Plan describing the technical approach, organizational resources and management controls to be employed to meet the cost, performance and schedule requirements throughout Contract execution. Provide a monthly status report monitoring the quality assurance, progress/status reporting and program reviews applied to this contract.
