Summary

AI-generated · Aug 24, 2025

Flap assembly C W (2 each) is being procured with delivery FOB origin. The item must come from an approved source and require engineering source approval by the design control activity to maintain part quality; data rights and technical information remain with the approved source, and an alternate supplier must qualify under the government’s design-control procedures. Pricing is tied to a negotiated RTAT, with per-unit prices based on meeting those RTAT requirements; if RTAT is not met, price negotiation will occur. Early and incremental deliveries are encouraged, and a reconciliation modification will be issued after final inspection of assets produced under the contract. The action is anticipated to be sole-sourced under FAR 6.302-1, with proposals from all responsible sources invited to identify capability; the government may decide not to compete, and responses are requested within the stated response window.

The formal solicitation adds specific marking and packaging requirements: markings must comply with MIL-STD-130, and packaging must follow MIL-STD-2073 as indicated in the schedule. The scope notes explicitly reference these requirements, in addition to the general terms that documents may be issued via mail, fax, or electronic means and that early/incremental deliveries are preferred. The rest of the terms (e.g., single-source intent, acceptance of proposals from capable sources, and the potential for non-competitive award) remain consistent with the presolicitation.

NSN 7R-1560-014560028-KB, TDP VER 002, REF NR 3352604-1, QTY 2 EA, DELIVERY FOB ORIGIN. This requirement is for the procurement of the items herein this solicitation. ALL CONTRACTUAL DOCUMENTS (I.E. THE GOVERNMENT'S ACCEPTANCE OF THE CONTRACTOR'S PROPOSAL CONSTITUTES BILATERAL AGREEMENT TO "ISSUE" CONTRACTUAL DOCUMENTS AS DETAILED HEREIN. Early and incremental deliveries accepted and preferred. Reconciliation: A reconciliation modification will be issued after final Inspection and acceptance of all assets inducted under the subsequent contract. The parties have agreed to a price (shown on the schedule page) for each unit at the negotiated RTAT. Such prices are based on the Contractor meeting the RTAT requirements described within the schedule page. If the Contractor does not meet the applicable RTAT requirement, consideration will be assessed and subject to negotiation. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. The approved source(s) retain data rights,manufacturing/repair knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application.
