Summary

AI-generated · Oct 08, 2025

AFSC/SW is conducting market research to explore an Intergovernmental Support Agreement to expand collaboration with academic partners and significantly grow its local software workforce. They seek facilities within a three-mile radius of Robins Air Force Base that AFSC/SW would occupy alone, with at least 20,000 square feet and in move-in ready condition no later than June 2026, requiring minimal modifications.

Respondents should provide facility descriptions (address, total space, floor plans, features, photos), current condition and readiness (renovations, time and cost to make move-in ready), data infrastructure and security features, and lease/availability details (availability date, terms, estimated lease rate). They must also include company information (experience, government work, business size/type) and a proposed approach to the effort, including a firm-fixed-price framework, lead time, subcontracting percentage, and total cost estimate. This is informational market research with no solicitation or contract commitment; responses are confidential. Two notices are identical, containing the same requirements and no new information.

This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Proposals (RFP), a Request for Quotations (RFQ) or an indication that the Government will contract for any of the items and/or services contained in this notice. In accordance with FAR 52.215-3, Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes, the Government will not pay for any information/items submitted in response to the RFI. No determination as to the viability of this potential requirement has been made at this point and there is currently no solicitation for this effort. A. BACKGROUND The purpose of this RFI is to conduct Market Research regarding a contracting effort to determine options for an Intergovernmental Support Agreement.
