This sources sought notice is for market research purposes only. No contract award will be made based off any response to this notice. SCOPE OVERVIEW The 14 Weather Squadron WDA-CLIMO production Storage Area Network (SAN) hardware requires replacement with equipment meeting or exceeding the specification outlined in the Statement of Need (SoN). Additional service agreements, warranties, and policies are also required as listed in the SoN. SET-ASIDE The government has not yet determined the capability of small businesses to fulfill the specifics of the requirement. Information regarding interested parties’ size statuses is requested in response to this sources sought. CONTRACT TYPE The government intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) utilizing FAR part 13 procedures. The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order for this requirement. MANDATORY SOURCE DETERMINATION The government has not determined if all of the requested products and services can be fulfilled on a mandatory source. Information regarding sources is requested in response to this sources sought. RESPONSE INSTRUCTIONS Interested parties shall submit a response to this sources sought showing the following: - Interest - Interested parties shall submit a brief statement showing their interest in a potential future contract of a similar nature and scope. - Capability - Interested parties shall submit a relevant capability statement or narrative showing they have capabilities to perform a contract of this scope - Interested parties may submit a draft quote for market research purposes only - Additional Information, Questions, and Feedback - Interested parties may submit questions regarding the requirement and/or industry feedback on the contents of the draft SoN - The government requests information regarding interested parties’ size statuses - The government requests information regarding potential mandatory sources for the requested supplies and services Interested parties shall submit a response to this sources sought notice via email to Mr. Daniel Kuchar (daniel.kuchar@us.af.mil) and Mr. Casey Hupton (casey.hupton.1@us.af.mil) no later than 20 June 2025 at 11:00 AM CDT.
