Prefabaricate Temporary Bridge for the Ashley NF
Summary
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as request for quotation (RFQ) No. AG-84N8-S-16-0120. Quotes are due on or before 1:00 p.m. local time on July 6, 2016. Late quotes will not be considered. The solicitation document and incorporatd provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-88, effective June 15, 2016. This project consists of the design, fabrication, and transportation of a 35 feet long and 14 feet wide prefabricated bridge to Vernal, Utah. The superstructure design shall be performed by the contractor to the geometry shown on the drawings. Design calculations and shop drawings shall be submitted to the Forest Engineer for approval two weeks prior to fabrication. The bridge shall be delivered and unloaded at the Ashley National Forest Boneyard in Vernal, Utah as directed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
