REQUEST FOR QUOTE This special notice for commercial items is posted as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and but not limited to the following FAR clauses: 52.212-4, 52.232-1, 52.232-8, 52.232-25, 52.232-33, 52.233-1, 52.243-1, 52.249-1, 52.247-65, 52.249-8. Vendor is to provide all labor, parts, tools, materials, and transportation necessary to provide: 100 each small sedan metal gun box manufactured by American Van Equipment p/n GB-20 or equal: only these dimensions will be accepted 36W X 20D X 6H w/top door 100 each SUV metal gun box, American Van Equipment p/n GB-34 or equal: 11 1/2W X 13 1/2H X 34 ½ D w/front door 100 each installation kits American Van Equipment p/n GB-HK-CG or equal. Gun boxes are to be used for the safe transport and short-term storage of firearms in vehicles. The proposed requirement is set-aside for Small Business concerns and applies to the North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) 332999 with a size standard of 500. There will be no paper copies of the RFQ notice available. The Government will not reimburse any interested parties for monies spent to provide a response to the subsequent RFQ notice. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing within the time allowed. Vendor must be listed in CCR.
