J--Refurbishment/Replacement of IPE
Summary
The Government proposes to award a Sole source contract to IPS Custom Automation for maintenance and remedial repair of Industrial Plant Equipment (IPE) located in the 200 area of Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. The IPE is used in an area used for ordnance and high energy explosives. In order to minimize downtime, a maintenance contract has been prepared to include refurbishment/replacement of all IPE in the 200 areas as necessary. Picatinny intends to use IPS for this effort. IPS has the knowledge and experience to safely and expeditiously disassemble, modify, repair and reinstall all equipment in the 200 area. Numbered note: 22, 26 apply.
