THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY This sources sought notice is being issued to assist the Reserve Service Center (RSC) Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Jackson, in performing market research to determine industry interest and capability, obtain company demographics, obtain benchmarking information and industry ideas for an acquisition approach. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes. The purpose of this sources sought request is to determine the 8a firms that are able to recruit the necessary personnel, materials, services, and functional support to assist the 81st Reserve Support Command (RSC) with the performance of equipment maintenance, equipment storage, warehousing operations and the administrative and supply functions required to support the operations of 48 geographically disperse reserve centers. The contractor shall complete repairs as indicated on the government supplied work orders and perform diagnostic tests to assure no further complications. All work completed, including repairs and services, shall adhere to the repair standards prescribed in the equipments' appropriate publications (i.e. technical manuals (TM), lubrication orders (LO), or modification work order (MWO) and within the time standards established by the 81st RSC. The Period of Performance for this requirement is from 30 August 2014 - 31 January 2015. This requirement will be issued IAW FAR Part 12 quote mark Acquisition of Commercial Items quote mark .
