NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: This pre solicitation synopsis is prepared in accordance with FAR 5.207 The 673d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson ABW, Alaska intends to award a sole source Contract to Diagnostica Stago Inc, for the purchase of Barcode scannable coagulation reagents for a STA Compact Coagulation Analyzer wherein the vendor shall make delivery to the DoD/VA Joint Venture Hospital 5955 Zeamer Ave Joint-Base Elmendorf Richardson, Anchorage AK, 99506. The anticipated contract duration is for a base period of one year with one one-year option period. The anticipated award date is on or about 31 December 2014. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 22 December 2014 at 2 pm Alaska Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
