Capabilites Session
Summary
The Air Force Installation Contract Agency (AFICA) Fire Emergency Services (FES) Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) team intends to re-solicit for FES PPE commodities and services acquisition (RFP# FA8056-14-R-0004, original solicitation posted 14 November 2014). The AFICA FES PPE team will host capabilities sessions for the FES PPE program from 3 March through 5 March 2015. An additional date may be added, if needed. A number of questions have been raised by industry regarding RFP# FA8056-14-R-0004. The FES PPE team would like to speak with industry in order to answer questions and gather additional market research. In order to facilitate this task, AFICA is offering FES-PPE manufacturers and dealers/distributors the opportunity to hold an in-person capabilities session with the FES PPE team. The sessions will be limited to 1 hour 45 minutes. An agenda will follow. The following dates and times are available. Time slots will be filled on a first come first served basis. This is a Request for Information (RFI) questionnaire being conducted in conjunction with U.S. Air Force (USAF) Special Notice (capabilities session) posted on 30 January 2015 to FedBizOpps (FBO) under Solicitation Number FA8056-15-R-0001, for USAF Fire Emergency Services Personal Protective Equipment (FES-PPE). (https://www.fbo.gov/index?s=opportunity&mode=form&id=65eb7abb3064e8936d884a698913742a&tab=core&_cview=0) The purpose of this questionnaire is to gain insight into the products and suppliers/manufacturers which can meet the USAF requirements for FES-PPE. Nothing in the questionnaire implies a government obligation to implement. This questionnaire is similar to an RFI released in February 2015 prior to the capabilities sessions. Significant changes are included here. Please complete the entire questionnaire. Note - some questions may not apply to your company. Note: If you answer these questions pertaining to products you did not manufacture, the Government requires you confirm your answers with your manufacture(s) prior to responding. The questionnaire consists of 18 pages, 41 questions in total and may require up to 2 hours to complete. Questions with an asterisk (*) are required to be answered.
