99--Sikorsky 76A Initial/Recurrent Pilot Training
Summary
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey, has a requirement for Sikorsky 76A Initial/Recurrent Pilot Training. FAA anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) firm fixed price type contract for a period of 5 years on a full and open competitive basis. To be considered qualified, each offeror must possess an applicable training program approved under Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 121, or FAR Part 135, or FAR Part 142 for the King Air 200. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 611512 (Flight Training). The size standard is $25.5M. Screening Information Request (SIR) No. DTFACT-09-R-00048 is attached to this announcement. Contract performance shall commence on or around January 1, 2010. Questions on this SIR shall be in writing and be directed to [email protected]. All questions are due by 2 p.m. local time by October 5, 2009. The offeror's completed response to the attached SIR must be submitted no later than 2 p.m. local time on Monday, October 19, 2009 in accordance with the instructions set forth in Section L. Prospective offerors are hereby on notice that any amendment(s) issued to this solicitation will be published at https://faaco.faa.gov/ under current announcements for the William J. Hughes Technical Center. Therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. Note: Funds are not presently available for this requirement. The FAA's obligation under this requirement is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for this contract can be made. No legal liability on the part of FAA for payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this requirement and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
