Summary
The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: 1) Licenses and Maintenance for UG13500 NX Advanced Simulation, Qty 1; 2) NXN001 NX Nastran Basic, Qty 1; 3) UG12500 NX Advanced FEM, Qty 1. This requirement is sole sourced to Siemens Government Services, Inc. PLM Division (UG), 1881 Campus Commons Drive. Suite 300, Reston. Virginia 20191. The primary 3D CAD Software is Unigraphics 3D and this is UG NX Nastran add-on module software that will work seamlessly with the existing Unigraphics 3D CAD software, it will not run with other 3D CAD software. Also there is not a third party that has the capacity to run with UG NX 3D CAD. Any firms believing that they can provide the software and maintenance may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the data without causing programmatic hardship.
